Silent Sky Studios is a recording studio located in Northeast Arkansas, just east of Jonesboro. Silent Sky was founded in 2008 by Jon Goad, the studio's owner/operator. With over 20 years of experience performing and recording music, we can help you find the sound you're searching for.
CD Recording Packages
Silent Sky's CD Recording Packages are designed to fit any band on any budget. All packages include Engineering, Mixing, and In-House Mastering by owner/operator Jon Goad. We offer 3 levels of Packages:
Our CD packages are intended for a well-rehearsed band or artist that will be spending the majority of their time in the studio getting a great performance rather than learning or experimenting with a new song. If your songs are not complete, or if you haven't made final decisions about the arrangements, you should wait until you have done so before proceeding with buying one of our packages. It will be expected that your instruments will be in good shape with new or good drum heads and strings, no squeaks, buzzes, etc.
Packaged pricing is designed to meet your goals within a specific amount of time. Sufficient time is allotted to give you a pre-determined real total cost. We cannot offer unlimited time at a preset price. If you cannot finish recording in the specified package time or want to re-record certain parts later, it will be done at an additional hourly rate. This package and sufficient preparation on your part makes it possible to produce a professional-quality product at a set cost that won't break the bank.

"Bronze" Package: 3-Song Demo CD - $400
The Bronze Demo Package is perfect for new bands who need a top-quality demo to include in press kits, help get gigs, or to give to friends and fans:
- Up to 3 Songs
- Up to 3 Tracking Sessions (12 hours total)
- Mixing (approx. 6 hours)
- Mastering (approx. 3 hours)
- 1 Copy of duplication-ready Redbook Master CD
- 1 Copy of MP3 CD with Digitized Tracks for posting on your website or MySpace

The Silver EP Package is great for bands with a limited budget who still want a pro-quality CD to sell at gigs:

- Mastering (approx. 5 hours)
- 1 Copy of duplication-ready Redbook Master CD
- 1 Copy of MP3 CD with Digitized Tracks for posting on your website or MySpace

- Mixing (approx 20 hours)
- Mastering (approx 10 hours)
- 2 Copies of duplication-ready Redbook Master CD
- 1 Copy of MP3 CD with Digitized Tracks for posting on your website or MySpace

CD Duplication and Replication
IMPORTANT NOTE: The CD Packages above include only the specific products and services listed, and DO NOT include CD Duplication or Replication. Such orders will be referred to our partner, DiskFaktory. We are a DiskFaktory affiliate and can provide assistance with any aspect of preparing your DiskFaktory order. This includes graphic design, layout, and other support services. These services will be billed at our standard hourly rate of $25 per hour. Other notable DiskFaktory affiliates include Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, and American Idol Underground, so you know you're in good hands.
In our experience, DiskFaktory provides the highest quality service at a very reasonable price, and they specialize in short-run CD orders for independent artists.
